The wooden base provides the hearts with excellent stability, and the crosswise cut lines prevent drainage. The wooden stand is firmly attached to the foam. When unfolded, the heart stands upright and stable. When folded, the filled heart can be easily transported lying down. The OASIS® BIOLINE® urn heart also features a wooden base for the urn. This allows the urn to be placed in the center of the filled heart, creating a particularly beautiful display. TIP: After filling the heart with flowers, it should be left upright for a while to allow the water displaced by the flower stems to drain away. Due to the size of these products, conventional watering methods are rarely suitable. A mortar mixing tub (available at hardware stores) is ideal for watering. It should be clean, and the water level in the tub should be as high as possible. To soak the heart, hold it vertically and slowly submerge it, tip first, until the lower half is fully saturated. Then turn the heart over and soak the upper half in the same way. Although the foam segmentation significantly reduces water drainage, the heart should be left upright for approximately 30 minutes after soaking, as a water loss of about 20% is unavoidable.
